Family Nurse Practitioner, Lone Tree Family Practice
Tyler Nielsen is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. He is passionate about preventative care, and the importance of establishing a trusting collaborative relationship with his patients and delivering high quality care personalized for each individual patient. He is dedicated in building long-lasting and trusting relationship with all of his patients. He believes every patient deserves to be treated with dignity and respect.
Tyler is originally from a small town in Northwest Iowa. He earned a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He followed this by obtaining a Bachelors of Science in Nursing through Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa and went to obtain a Master of Science in Nursing graduating top of his class at Morningside University in Sioux City, Iowa.
Tyler’s past experience in nursing includes mental health, internal medicine, family practice, HIV prevention, and hormone therapy.
In his spare time, Tyler enjoys traveling and exploring new destinations with his two Australian Shepherds, Bailey and Harper. He recently moved to the area from Iowa and is looking forward to exploring the outdoors with them here in Colorado.
