What is EPAT®?
The procedure consists of applying a unique and proprietary set of acoustic

pressure (sound) waves that are generated outside the human body to the treatment area via the device applicator. Based on the knowledge and experience gathered to date, these acoustic pressure waves do not cause any clinically relevant side effects.

Is there any downtime?
No. Patients can carry on with their normal and sexual activities immediately after each Session.

Who is a candidate for EPAT® technology?
We recommend EPAT® for acute injuries as part of first line therapy, since it will allow for a faster recovery, so that you can return to the activities you love. It is also recommended for patients coming to us with chronic injuries who have failed to respond to other therapies. EPAT® allows our patients to avoid major downtime during treatment.

Tendonitis is inflammation or irritation of a tendon — the thick fibrous cords that attach muscle to bone. The condition causes pain and tenderness just outside a joint. While tendonitis can occur in any of your tendons, it’s most common around your shoulders, elbows, wrists, knees, and heels.

Some common names for various tendonitis problems are:
• Tennis elbow
• Golfer’s elbow
• Pitcher’s shoulder
• Swimmer’s shoulder

Plantar fasciitis:
Plantar fasciitis is one of the most common causes of heel pain. It involves inflammation of a thick band of tissue that runs across the bottom of your foot and connects your heel bone to your toes (plantar fascia). Plantar fasciitis commonly causes stabbing pain that usually occurs with your first steps in the morning. As you get up and move, the pain normally decreases, but it might return after long periods of standing or when you stand up after sitting.

Plantar fasciitis is more common in runners. People who are overweight and those who wear shoes with inadequate support also have an increased risk of plantar fasciitis.
